it’s been a while since my last post, and my last post was pretty dramatic and scary, so this is more of a brighter topic.
but to clear up the last one, I was honestly worried for a person who was in a pretty bad situation (which I will not mention) and I just wanted to vent it out.
well, with that aside…and FINALS finally over…I would love to talk about something more engaging…..
Lately, I have been listening to too much Big Bang and I’ve been too addicted.
The music is literally, like, sugar. It’s sweet, and definitely gives you pleasure ;)
I love these guys so much! EVERY single song is different, yet it doesn’t stray from their signature sound. And the rapping is freakishly flawless. Andd, the vocals are awesomely…awesome.
Oh, and the boys are good lookin’, which is a big PLUS!!! ;)
I just love how aggressive and smooth Korean rapping is!
The language definitely has a certain…um…”UMPH!” to it…
Sorry, I have to resort to using onomatopoeia….

There are a lot, just because Big Bang comes out with the BEST songs!!! I mean, I Love TVXQ , but they have a few bad songs in the pack. Regardless they are my favorite, but Big Bang is more hip hop, and their songs fill in the void that American music left empty…

I’m just going to talk about some random stuff that I want to say…
You know, in this bad economy, I look forward to my favorite hoodie going on sale…

An hour ago, I was watching some of The Brilliant Green‘s music videos, and I must say that Tomoko reminds me of Avril Lavigne. Well, not Avril’s voice or style, but I saw some pics of her that a friend really liked and she seemed like Ms. Lavigne herself…with the whole full-blown eyeliner, outrageous use of pink and black, and that “I’m stoned” look right before the flash on the camera goes off…
Oh, just to clear something up, I don’t like Avril Lavigne. Although I did like her music when I was a kid…When I was a KID.
Since this is a rant, I have to mention something about TVXQ. (Actually this time, it won’t be too much about the boys :[ )
You know, I don't totally hate how they have so many different names, but it's annoying.
I understand that with the different names, the group is versatile in any country...but it's annoying...so I'll address my concerns...
1. Tohoshinki is okay because it's primarily used in Japan and recognized as a J-Pop group, although it still gets mixed up.
2. TVXQ and DBSK annoy me because I can only refer to them as DBSK to my Korean friends, and TVXQ or Tohoshinki to my other friends. Also, keep in mind, that some of my friends don't even listen to their incredible music!!
3. There are soo many fan clubs, under the google search "____ fans". Just insert a TVXQ, DBSK, or Tohoshinki into the space. It's so much! And don't get me started about the fanlistings...
Yeah, that's my TVXQ rant.
Lately, I have been going back to the beginning and have started to watch Code Geass again.
Man, how I miss Lelouch...now I feel sad again from remembering how the series ended...

There’s this kick-ass Japanese band that I found out about 20 minutes ago that’s called …GLORY HILL!!!!
I know, I know…late to the party, eh?
Their songs are in English, so for those of you that can’t understand Japanese, you’ll love them! And! Takuya (Vocals) has some very good English in his arsenal, so check it!!
I love this band so much, their songs are so damn catchy…and “damn catchy” is a catchphrase of mine, but seriously, I can’t get those songs out of my head.
It’s not a bad “stuck in your head” it’s good and infectious!!;)
Basically, their “masterpieces within 5 minutes” songs are high energy punk anthems with a great voice to top it all off. If only some American bands could take some advice from these dudes on how to make good pop punk or punk songs…
I’m not dissin’ American bands, I’m only mentioning the very few who just try too hard with such shitty songs.
That’s a whole other post…though…
GLORY HILL is such a great band, so please please please check them out…I have nothing else to say other than their music is amazingly awesome and it pwns any punk or pop punk songs (in any language) I have heard in the 2 last years……
I’m sure there might be some songs, though, but I can’t think of any right now because I’m obsessing over Glory Hill right now……….

Um, yeah. I really want them to do more stuff in America. You know, I wonder how good the rest of them are at speaking English…
From what I’ve seen and heard, Micky is by far the best. And he was in the U.S. at one point, which is a fact that every fan knows about….Anyway….
His speaking is pretty good, but I wonder about the rest of them.

Man, I love them, but I don’t understand Korean music. I can only understand Japanese and English songs. Geez, the language barrier hasn’t stopped me from listening to their music, and it shouldn’t matter to anyone else. Although I understand why it is hard…

The only reason why Korean girls, Korean guys, people obsessed with Korea, otaku people who listen to Japanese music then started listening to Korean music [appropriately named, OPWLTJMTSLTKM ppl] and the rest of the people that aren’t Asian, listen to their music is because…
Even if you don’t speak Korean, their music is amazing and very unique. In fact, they kick N*SYNC’s ass one hundred trillion times over!!!! And! They show that Asians really can dance!!!

Anyway, I lost my train of thought and started going off in some other bunny trail, but I understand why others aren’t listening….Mostly because they have never heard of them and because…
1. They don’t have any Korean friends
2. Don’t know about a website called jpopasia.com
3. Don’t live in Korea, and/or never visited Korea
4. Only listen to songs in English
5. Think music in a different language cannot be understood on an emotional level
Ok, maybe the last one was pretty far fetched, but it is true.
At the same time, I know that they might be worried of losing fans in Korea if they debut in another country.
I mean, the tension rose before when they moved to Japan for almost two years. It might happen again…
Hopefully not, though…

Nevertheless if they ever do debut here, or stay in Asia solidifying their already high status, I’ll still love them and you TVXQ/DBSK/Tohoshinki fans will still love them too.

It’s so stylish and sleek. And the choreography is awesome, my fave part is when Changmin does his little strut thingy [whatevs]
Junsu was kawaii as always. And so mature…I mean, he gives off some cool vibe in all their MVs. In Mirotic, he looked smokin’ but he looks even better in this one. They even added an extra part after the bridge!!!
He sounds soo great. I’m speechless.
And I used to be obsessed with Yoochun, and the MV just made me fall in love AGAIN! I love how his hair is swept into his face!!! So cute!!!
And Jae’s rap was cool, first time I heard it, I didn’t recognize him. It’s pri-tty cool.
In fact, Jaejoong looks better every time. (just like everyone else) His hair, especially gets better. First it was like, well from their 2007 stuff, it was long and blond then short and auburn-ish and now short and brown. I actually want a haircut like his in
Purple Line. So cool!!!!
